PAINT POD MAC SKIN

When I use this Paint Pot my eyeshadows will stay in place all day, even though I have quite oily skin and therefore pretty oily eyelids. The staying power is also pretty impressive. Because it’s just a layer underneath my eyeshadow I don’t think it has to be super pigmented, but it is nice that it is. However, even though it’s not super easy to really pack it on and get lot’s of pigment, this product still has great pigmentation. The downside to that is that it’s harder to really pack on the colour because if you go over one area twice, you’re already blending it and the colour will become less intense. Because the Color Tattoo’s are so sticky they don’t really blend or move once applied, while the Paint Pot could be blended without too much effort.

The tester they had in store was almost empty, which clearly shows it has been there for quite a while now, and it was just as smooth and creamy as the one I have now, which is brand new.īesides that I feel like the MAC Paint Pot is a little easier to blend than the Maybelline Color Tattoo’s are.

The Maybelline Colour Tattoo’s tend to be pretty sticky and they dry out pretty quickly, while the MAC Paint Pots are super smooth and creamy, but not in a way it would crease within no time and they just don’t dry out. I found out why the very first time I touched the product. What could be so different between the MAC Paint Pots and for example the Maybelline Color Tattoo’s, which I thought were absolutely amazing. I think Vintage Selection is perfect because it’s light enough to act as an eyelid colour, it has shimmer to it so it will glam up everything you put on top of it and you can use it in combination with pretty much every single colour you want.īefore I got this Paint Pot, I just never got why they were so popular. The shimmers are not super chunky, but they aren’t really fine either. Vintage Selection is a shimmery champagne/ rose gold colour. Besides that, I just love me some shimmer. It’s a colour I would use every single day, with every single look and it’s a colour I love now and that I will still love in 20 years. The reason why I chose Vintage Selection instead of the popular Painterly, Bare Study or Soft Ocre is because Vintage Selection is more me. There are lots of different colours available, but I ended up buying just one in a colour called Vintage Selection. I like how heavy they feel because it really adds that luxurious feeling and I like that they kept the packaging very simple.

The MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pots come in these tiny glass jars with a semi-matte black lid. Last time I went to MAC I finally decided to just go for it. Even though I still adore the Maybelline Color Tattoo’s and the P2 cream shadows, I always wanted to try one of the MAC Paint Pots. I have been doing that non stop for the past few years and I’m still doing it every single day. I think it’s no secret at all that I absolutely love wearing cream eyeshadows underneath my eyeshadow.
